SSASuite pulls in all the observational data you feed it — any sensor type, any orbit regime — and fuses multiple observations of objects to reduce the initial uncertainty of their positions. It provides catalog capacity to handle 100,000 or more objects.

Next, SSASuite compares the observations to the tracks in your object catalog and processes the data into updated orbit information. The Extended Kalman Filter-Smoother (EKFS) inside SSASuite dramatically improves accuracy compared to the common Batch Least Squares approach, since each position step is computed with full physics modeling. And you don’t need to sacrifice speed for accuracy with SSASuite, because the system keeps latency as low as 5-10 minutes from observation receipt.

Once SSASuite has processed all the data you have loaded, you can examine objects of interest, investigate maneuvers, and evaluate warning messages. Between data fusion at ingestion and the EKFS during processing, the orbits in your catalog are produced with realistic covariance. This means that with SSASuite, you know how well you know.
